Hi John,
I know it is frustrating to be in a zone that isn’t close to its goal, especially when the neighboring zone is so close! We can’t simply change the zone in which an address falls because zone boundaries are determined according to DMEA’s power lines. The fiber lines will follow the same infrastructure as the power lines (route from substations, poles, etc.). The reason you are located in Cedaredge 124 is because that is also the feeder (main power line) that brings power to your home. The fiber line that brings internet to you will follow that same path. Remember, this is a long-term project. It will 5 to 6 years to build the more than 3,000+ miles of fiber throughout DMEA’s service territory. Please keep spreading the good word and we will get there!
