Hi, Tom. You are correct. It will recognize that you have already used that email to preregister. Just sign back in with your password and you can preregister your new address. So sorry for the confusion. We have a few safeguards in place that help prevent duplicate preregistrations, but it can make situations like yours a bit more difficult.
