Good question, yes, you can change your mind before installation. You can also change your speed at anytime after you have service. The only requirement is that you maintain at least the minimum service level (which is 100 mbps internet). If you want to be BLOWN away by your internet speed, you with the gig! Either way, both speed levels will be much faster than anything else that is currently available in our area.
