Hello Daniel. Construction has begun in the Reconnect 2 area! We are set to launch Reconnect 2 - Zones 1 and 2 shortly. While I don't have an exact date for you on Zone 8, a good estimate would be around late summer to early fall 2023.

Any idea what month the Reconnect 2 - Zone 9 and also Reconnect 2 - Zone 7 will be ready to connect to our homes?

Hello Sandee. Construction has begun in the Reconnect 2 Zone with Zones 1 and 2 becoming available shortly! While we don't have exact dates for Zones 7, 8, or 9 yet, we anticipate service being available in those zones by late summer to early fall 2023.

Hi, Ken. Good timing! We expect initial field work to begin on January 24. This work will focus mostly on prepping our system for the fiber construction – think tree trimming and pole replacements. After that is complete, we’ll begin constructing the Elevate network. Our best guess for bringing service into homes within the Reconnect 2 area is mid-summer 2023.

Hi David! Your address is located in our Reconnect 3 Grant area. Our current best guest for kicking off field work in that grant area is early 2024. We have experienced longer timelines that normal with our federal grants (Reconnect 3 is our second federal grant) so I don't yet have an anticipated service date for you. Keep an eye on our DMEA member newsletter though - we published our latest elevate update just this past November - https://www.dmea.com/sites/default/files/Newsletters/PowerLines_November_2022_singlepage.pdf.

We're excited to see that Elevate is coming to our area! Do you have an approximate schedule for Reconnect 3 Grant area construction (near Cottonwood Creek Road and 4300 Road, north east of Crawford)?

Do you have an estimate of which month, and which year, construction will begin in Pea Green 128 Zone? I asked by email 8 days ago, and no answer. Also, on my Dashboard, Action, Review, Order won't open.

Hi Becky, Thank you for the information. My husband saw some new poles putting up a while back. That's a good sign, even though good ol' red-tape hurdles arrived, it's not Elevate's fault. I showed your information to my relative, then she showed it to her relative. Both of them are on the Pea Green list. We will stick with you more, than just a bit longer. It will be worth it. My current ISP, makes it near impossible to get a connection long enough to accomplish anything. I used your Speed Test, (with my current ISP), Download was 9.1 Mbps! (ugh) Usually it's 12.(something), which isn't wonderful. I typed this comment on Notebook so I can paste it fast before my ISP cuts me off. Thank you again.

Hi Sandee! Initial field work has actually already begun in Pea Green, which is part of our Rural Utilities Service ReConnect Grant. But, as you've probably noticed, our timeline has shifted a few times over the past year. We initially hoped to begin field construction (replacing any necessary poles, hanging or burying fiber, installing equipment, etc.) this summer, but we recently pushed that to the fall. With this being a federal grant, we are encountering a few more red-tape hurdles than originally anticipated, and now that fall time frame is being pushed back too. We are now expecting boots-on-the-ground construction to kick off in early 2023. I apologize for the frustration of a continually changing timeline - we feel it too. I appreciate all the patience and understanding you and your neighbors have given us. Can you stick with us for just a bit longer? We're coming! Regarding your order, the reason you do not see any action to take on it when you go to your dashboard is that service is not yet available. When the network construction is complete, we will send out notices to everyone like you who has preregistered to let them know it's time to complete their order. That notice will go to the email you registered on this website. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

I've be pre-registered since it became available, but alas, I'm in 363 Montrose north and we're still "gathering interest"... could the problem be, at least in part, because point to point wireless and Clear Networks fiber both, at least partly cover much of the (poorly defined) "zone". I'm sincerely considering calling Clear Networks since the point to point I use fails at least once a month. If I do get clear networks I'll be retracting my pre-registration with Elevate, because paying installation fees twice would not be very wise, and I may be leaving the Montrose area within 5 years.

An update would be helpful but I can't find anything on the website. I'll be moving into the same N 363 zone by the end of the year and would really like to know if Elevate will there by then. I have it at my home now and it's great. I hope it will easy to make a clean transition and not have to rely Spectrum or satellite.

Any word on S414? Our Neighbors are loosing hope that it will reach out to our area. I have referred many people to Elevate because of having it at work and still do not have it in my own area. Please give us an update or time? Thank you Sara

Hi Sara, There is hope on the horizon. Elevate has received a grant from the Rural Utilities Service to bring fiber to your area, including S414. You can find more details on the grant and construction here: https://elevateinternet.com/pea-green-one-step-closer-high-speed-internet.

What does it require to qualify for a Grant? Pea Green 128 has 292 more people compared to a current Granted zone, and Pea Green 128 has 352 more people than another current Granted zone.

Any update on montrose s515? Fiber lines are run along the hwy but no update on install for anyone in rivers edge. I asked for a price to run it from the hwy to my house, but noone has reached out. Seems like since the fiber line is there it would be pretty easy to accomodate installs. I did also reach out to region 10 because someone said it was their line, they referred me back to elevate because it is elevates line. Region 10 didnt know why we could use that line for installs Please update

User Avatar

You used to have a chart that showed for each zone the number of people required to show interest that was your goal as well as the number currently signed up or at least the percentage of your goal that have shown interest. All I find now is a lit showing a statement that you're currently generating interest. Did you do away with the more specific chart or can I just not find it? Thanks. Also, very informative meeting today, thanks.

Just wondering why all of the zones say gathering community interest means And wondering when Olathe 148 will have Internet

User Avatar

4:42PM June 14, 2021

Becky Mashburn
Hi Leslie, This is a recent change to our construction process. Unfortunately, the remaining zones were not gathering enough interest to meet our preregistration requirements, so we shifted our strategy. We are no longer collecting preregistrations as part of a construction goal. Now, the best way to build our network within the remaining areas is by using grant funds from state and federal programs. We still encourage people to submit their interest because that information helps us with our grant applications. Robert is correct, a portion of Olathe 148 was approved to received grant funding. It is now listed as North Mesa on our zone map. Unfortunately, I believe your home is just outside of the approved area. I'm so sorry!
